What you mean we three fifths a human being,
we put the hue in human, so tell me what you seeing.
The color of a nation with strength beyond measure,
and it would be my pleasure to explain this BROWN treasure.
But first let’s dispel the negativity that dwells within its use,
as I give a little proof of how we’re taught to hate our roots.
Back in the day, all you had to do is check the suits,
BLACK was for the bad guys, while white represented truth.
When you were force to do something you didn’t wanna do
they called it BLACKMAIL, while BLACK males have been conditioned from birth
to mimic the behavior of a society cursed.
White meant clean and pure, while BLACK represented dirt and filth,
but it was their own dirt and filth that brought about the death of mils.
Yet they have the nerve to call it the BLACK PLAGUE,
but I do know that wheat is better for you then white bread.
BROWN RICE and BROWN SUGAR all retain they nutrients,
but the bleached version of each is cheaper so we using it.
Just goes to show that anything whitewashed isn’t really healthy,
and being that way isn’t guaranteed to make you wealthy.
Do something the government doesn’t like, and you get BLACKLISTED,
upset the wrong people and get BLACKBALLED within your district.
But a little white lie is so commonly accepted,
that they training you not to question the validity of their statements.
An outcast is referred to as a BLACK SHEEP,
now is it surprising that the BLACK MARKET is where the crooked merchants meet.
But most of the buyers have a seat near the powers that be,
now ain’t that quaint, they say its our market, but we don’t hold the rank
or big enough bank to even purchase a can of paint within this market.
Yet we’re constantly the target of their racial misconceptions,
but they fail to realize that we’re a nation of exception,
exceptional perfection that will soon lead us to question
our position in this western state of misdirection.
The correction of a state of mind takes time to totally refine,
but in time, a brighter light will shine.
Its hard to hold down this beautiful BROWN that was meant for crowns,
so we’ll watch the evils drown as our legacy triumphantly resounds.
I’m proud of my BROWNNESS, my EBONY profoundness
I’ve found bliss in the skin that I’ve been surrounded.
I got a weakness for that CHOCOLATE thickness,
and those MOCHA flavored kisses I receive from these MAHOGANY misses.
My greatest wish would be a world filled with every shade of BROWN,
and my kids could walk around, and no racism would be found.
But until then I’ll just embrace my BLACKNESS,
and keep penning the truth without every spreading whackness.
