I'm just curious.... I have a jar full of dandelion which I use to detoxify the liver and kidney's - is there a magical property here that I've overlooked?

In rootwork and Spiritism, we use dandelion root to aid in the certain visionary abilities. There is a cyclic formula for use and some other ritualistic things that are done.
