after thinking about what you just said you're so right it's called oppression any way you look at it....the black man is always the first to go........UNLESS and i'll not say much too that one but we all live in america land of the free, home of the brave i believe that's what i use to sing every morning in grade school, every one should have a chance to climb that ladder and not be limted,

hey.. if the players hate you, you won't last. Same thing happened in Dallas. I've heard that part of the problem that black coaches face is that black players tend to not show them the respect they show white coaches... and that leads to problems. Whatever the case, Avery seems to be a very fire-able coach.. success or no-success.. he may need to step down to the College level.. or the NBDL where the coach has more power.

But Mike Brown was just a bad coach.. his system did not take his players into account.. Who wants to see the Princeton offense? If it was working that would be one thing.. but he was like 1-12 when he got fired.. and that with the top Center.. and Top Shooting guard in the league.. he needed to go.

It was bound to happen with the loosing streak they were on. The owner spent a lot of money to build that team and to have them go from 1st in one month to almost last in the next is quite a shock. Something drastic had to happen to let the team know that he's serious about winning. Most of those losses came late in the 4th quarter when they had double digit leads, so this means the coach stopped coaching late in games when they were up.

DId i hear someone ask where's Phil Jackson?
