Somewhere between paradise and diaster
Occupation

We just kind of fell into each other space
Tripping over each other's insecurites
Stumbling across one another's imperfection
Just so happy that someone wanted to be near

However Broken people attract brokeness
and unsatisfication begets more misery

So when I was in need of an ego stroke
You came along seeming to feel my void
I jumped at the opportunity like a lost puppy
Not knowing that you were just as broken

But I quickly learned the real sum of 2 halves
Is not always a geniunely whole entity

No one mortal can complete another mortal
or be totally reponsibible for another's happiness
Each soul must evolve into their own completion
And find their own authentic source of inner joy

So just as we fell into this we ought to fall out of this
And remain seperate until we are more completed works
Although we will all forever be a constant work in progress,
We ought to seek to be a complement instead of a completion

In the Spirit of Sankofa and Real Truth!

Broken complement...No harm, no foul

Yep, makes sense to me asimplepoet:

No one mortal can complete another mortal
or be totally reponsibible for another's happiness
Each soul must evolve into their own completion
And find their own authentic source of inner joy

There's got to be something there to work with.
