CLEVELAND, OHIO -- A 13-year-old boy was charged Tuesday with murder and child endangering in the death of his 8-week-old daughter.
The boy entered denials to the charges in Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court. Denials are the equivalent of not guilty pleas in adult court.
He was arrested Monday in the death of his daughter who had died Sunday in a hospital. A coroner said the infant died from severe head injuries and internal bleeding.
The 13-year-old told police the baby was sleeping in a bed with her 14-year-old mother Sunday when he noticed the girl's head was wedged between the bed and the wall. He said he picked up the baby and she "started to spit up white stuff," according to a police report.
He said he noticed the baby was not breathing and woke up the mother, who called police.

I'm trying to find some more information on this article..the boys race... more detailed information. What is provided doesn't satisfy my curiosity. I want to know how can a 13 year old be tried for something that he probably didn't do intentionally when the mother was asleep...8 times out of ten the child was too...Wouldn't the mother have heard the child crying? If the child was laying right there in the bed with her. I just don't comprehend. I'm not understanding..totally lost. Please help me find my way. Someone....any one....
