    Provocative dancers signal
    come inside into temptation’s grotto.
    Further down the narrow street
    a silver figure stands frozen
on the corner, money at its feet
    a small crowd stands transfixed
    waiting for the resurrection.
    Across the street a hurricane
is brewing but no one minds.
    Near the raucous street’s end,
    opposites no longer attract.
    Iron filings of human nature
    demagnetize or dress in drag.

    the deadly battle
    of temptation
    care not who
    it bring to force
    see
    no color
    no age
    no honor
    just take who
    ever dare
    cross that
    street
    welcoming
    the mindless
    Nice one
    Peace
    Blue

Ya gotta ta go da distance

Ya gotta go the distance to see all of this--they call Las Vegas Sin City, but it can't touch Bourbon Street, plus the food is much better and down home--and just to spice it up, stop at Madame Leroux's House of Voodoo just to be sure you got your mojo workin'--Amun-Ra
