I have been looking around and have not seen a thread suggesting books for the knowledge thirsty member. I don't proclaim to be well read at all, most of my library consists of college textbooks and fiction. As of late, my mind has been awakened and the need for cultural information and history has been overwhelming.

I started off with "From Superman to Man" by J. A. Rogers which is a superb book regarding racial views. It will definitely refresh your vocabulary as well although some of the language is a bit archaic it flows beautifully.

Next I started on "Stolen Legacy" and although the information in the book is intriguing, the passages are quite repetitive and the author inculcates his main argument to the point I started skipping around for new facts and information. Eventually I plan on finishing that book though.

I am currently reading the third edition of "Knowledge of Self" which contains writings from various contributors regarding their experience with the NGE. A good read so far, you can sort of pick and choose which path you would like to continue on, gaining knowledge as you go. I am very open to any book suggestions and as I read more I will share with whoever is looking. (Pardon the random image sizes, the resize attributes don't seem to work)

Thanks for the suggestion. Any comments good or bad? A friend of mine is reading The Tipping Point, which I heard was good.

I just bought it last night along with three-quarters of a dozen other books. I'll keep you in mind.

I got tons of books for you :).
Most of them are law books though.
What are your interests or what would you like to know more about?
My personal digital library stands at 120GBs of data and counting.

Thanks Destee, that first link hits the nail on the head. Shikamaru (Does the name come from Naruto or someplace else?) my interest currently are mainly historical and cultural. I am interested in spiritual texts but those are slower to digest.
