    Have you played it before?
I like go. I have a very basic understanding of the game, but without
someone to play from time to time it is hard for me to improve.

That shogi seems quite involved as well.

To your point, I was watching a docu about go, and it talked
about how difficult to impossible to create an app for the game.
The docu is kind of old, but there are folks working on it. I don't
    know if they've succeeded.

I encourage anybody who dig strategic games (certainly those who dig chess), to
look into the game go. I think that shogi is a step above european chess that we are
most familiar with, so check that out as well. It is not xbox or playstation, but quite
    interesting nontheless.

I would even put xiangqi on par with european chess.
