On the topic of elevating our consciousness, our relationships are an extension of such. I know, the adage reminds us,“you are the company you keep”,but you also are the person next to you and you are, the individuals that you interact with both older and younger, an extension of them.

The connectivity of African centered societies is the goal. Our recent movements, though noble, have failed because of unclear objective and no basis for the young Black male. These pages present an alternative relationship model. The so-called civil rights movement stagnated because it pacified the grassroots,an essential element of revolution.

For you that read this young Brother, realize your time is now. You’ve arrived at this point and have surpassed not only the white folks around you but the lightweight, corny, half witted members of our race that couldn’t be you if they tried. Understandably, here, you feel you’ve reached the heights of your glory, but remain sharp and remain consistent in your hunger. Before you consider the path of polygamy, realize you are traveling a road that many an ancestor has traveled.

King David the Moor in the Bible, though a man after God’s own heart and father of seventeen children, had to wrestle control of his kingdom in his latter years. The same fate befell his son Solomon, another Moor that gave us Proverbs and out of his cynicism, Ecclesiastes. Both of these great men, though Kings, failed to adhere to the cosmic laws of the Melanin dominant man and woman.

The sisters that you have chosen to assist you in your exploration of your Africanity should be Creator fearing, submissive, domestic sisters. Black man, you are the Creator.

Eldest wife#1, has a duty, for she is your administrator. She helps you handle the empire you have, or the two of you have built. It’s best to educate her to your ways of the world as well, for she will educate the others.

Different circumstances demand a different perspective and such is the reason for this recommendation of how the melanin dominant man governs his kingdom. Now, when you have displayed that your financial prowess is up to standard and your knowledge of your ancestors and are sincere in your efforts to liberate our people, your quest for wife#2 begins.

And the same practice persists when you have proven your propensity to stabilize a household, for polygamy is more than a “thrill”,but a lifestyle that requires patience and prayer.

The world ends and begins with you Black man(Moor), take heed.

#3 is who will populate much of your tribe. She is chosen by you, usually at the blessing of her parents(provided that she comes from a two parent home, which is why this will take some searching on your part), and should already have a degree of consciousness, your reason for linking with her in the first place. It helps that she is younger than you, because she will birth your immediate heirs.

Wife#4 is your mate that stays elsewhere. Set up a situation with her where she can be your second household to crash at two months out of the year. If you lead an organization, a second base for your operations can be wherever you set her up at.

Invest, focus and remain cognizant.

More than ever, this is about your legacy as a man of color.

And as the intelligent person you are you don't see how irrational this is? Why is it a shame to criticize someone who is clearly in the wrong?

No matter what you say, the argument for polygomy holds no water. This cannot be a solution for blacks. It was never a solution then and it is not a solution now...Come again.:(

Anyone who thinks they know everything is a fool. A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still. LMagere just leave the issue... He believe his solution is what is needed for black folks no amount of argument will convince him. I would like to know how do these wives feel being second class citizens in a household. There has to be preferential treatment in this polygamous relationship....

Well, it's not necessarily an "argument" for it, this is a discussion with family. I'm like your favorite uncle at the family reunion, lol.

Seriously, there has to be critical thought of where our previous movements have failed. This, alternate family model is one phase of difference. In the long term, it would produce more long term positive family results, being that females have helping hands. Also, delegation is a bit better. Spiritually, the Brothers first congregation is his family.

Will everyone or should everyone try this? No. But, it's confining in the least for a Brother that has expanded his world to remain to one woman. If he's interested in empire building, he needs three or more females, especially in this epoch we're in.

Females that are in opposition to the model on the basis of believing it "cheating" would do best to recognize that a Brotha was built to share his empire with several women.

This model is more prudent to a Brother who's made it in the world as opposed to him wifing up a woman with children or an all around nutcase( Lord knows those types are more common these days).

No preference save for what tasks/duties are required of each.

Ok so in all my posts I have not taken a position for or against this blueprint, or for or against polygamy.

If this blueprint serves as a model for you and yours, more power to you.

As an older, single black man, I had to put a lot if thinking into this, weighing every opinion.

I know that if you are not a muslim, you have studied the life of the prophet Muhammad and all the other prophets including Isa.

As I have often read many attacks on prophet Muhammad for his marriage to Aisha at such a young age, I am often conflicted because I work with and mentor teens and it's my young women who take to me the most. And like Aisha, they have become my best learners. And I'm talking about young sisters who are Muslimah and know their history and cultural traditions.

But, here is the problem for me. I have difficulty treating them equally without favoring one over the other. They actually compete with each other for my attention and "help".

And this is where I think some of the points against polygamy are valid? How can one possibly treat four wives equally, especially if they are students as well?

That's why I say more power to you if such an arrangement works for you and yours.

If I was about 25 years younger it's a blueprint I would seriously consider but knowing me I most likely would have the same problem I mentioned.

I relate to my students as if they are my own daughters and much of my work involves more mentoring and self esteem building than anything else. But in regards to teaching, I learn from them as well. I'm not an autocrat. Peace!
