    Knock… Knock
    Anybody home

    Knock… Knock
    Any Parent home

    Knock… Knock
    Any one home
    With the children

His demons required him to confess
To the crime he did not commit

    You see he is guilty
    Guilty of ugly un-pretty things
Things we do not talk about
At breakfast and in celebration spaces
Things we put off as unpleasant

    Now years later
    They must be regurgitated
    Their neglect demands the Sun
    The stories require exposure
    The stench emphasize vivid recall

Children sing ashes to ashes to their peers
Dance life into the murder of innocence

    Knock… Knock
    Anybody home

    We are yesterday
    Our minds demolished
    Our hearts exploded
    Our bodies defiled

    Knock… Knock
    Are your ears open

    We are today
    Do you know what happened?
Can your reality draw the puddles of us

    Some are alive
    We greet the Sun
    Manifest the Moon

    Children not important
    When you make it easy
For any to open minor legs

    Knock… Knock
    Anybody home

    Knock-knock ..
    I'll
    Knock harder...until somebody answer...
answer now...or answer later you must!

Far too many babies in this world...
all these babies are my Pearl.
    I'll holla, scream..jump and shout
can't let them take our babies out!

    Knock-knock
    ~knock-knock
    ~~knock-knock
Once inside they drop their game,
    but no one's home..so who's the blame?
lock your doors, tight and secure...
so they won't harm our children no more.

    Knock-knock

Children are buds that need to be tended to if they are going to bloom. Glad I was able to hear this being read, and so emotively so. Great write.
