Black People : Bloomberg wants more Blacks and Latinos stopped

I don't know about that. Before the Civil Rights Movement, black people were known for being "long suffering," i.e., would take whateva white folk dished out.

Speaking of the CRM (lol), did you, or anyone, see the documentary about Freedom Summer in Mississippi that was on PBS tonight? Man! It was something! Talk about taking your life in your hands and moving out on faith. Fannie Lou Hamer of the Mississippi Freedom Party that went to the Democratic Convention in 1964 remains MY hero! That little lady was just first rate.

Hardly, we always protested and fought. The Civil Rights movement was over a twenty year period. The bus boycott started in the 50s

Blacks were in this country for 300 years BEFORE the 1950s. And it is a truism - before the Civil Rights Movement, of which the Montgomery bus boycott was part and parcel, blacks were known as a LONG-SUFFERING people. As a PEOPLE, we kissed white a** or died. Ask Emit Till.
