Da Lawd know he be blessin' me
    Ev'ry day uv the week
That's why I try 'en serve him
And his precious face I seek

Da Lawd sho be blessin' me
    I tell it ev'ry where I go
I can't help 'cause it make me smile
And I want de whole world to know

How he put food on my table
And de clothes on my back
How he gave me shelter ova my head
    Not a leanin', leakin' shack

Da Lawd sho be blessin' me
So glad I can call his name
    Cause callin' out somebody else
Just ain't gon' be de same

I thank da Lawd fuh blessin' me
    Fuh 'plyin all my needs
Wit out de Lawd what would I do
    I thank de Lawd indeed.

thanks be to Thee for my blessings . . .
