When mommy came into my life you were conceived.

Although your actual conception was a couple of years away.

The love mommy and I share is fate.

Your existence is a product of our love.

Your birth will link mommy’s family to mine.

People will say you are mixed.

They think mommy and I are from different races.

There is only one race, the human one.

Our only differences are in amount of pigment.

Our amount of pigment is determined by the origin of our ancestors.

You are a blend of mommy’s African and Native American and My European and Native American lineage.

You are mine and mommy’s blended love child.

The blend of your physical features is complete.

I can’t wait to be there for your first breath.

We will blend love, support, discipline, and understanding to raise you.

We promise to teach you good strong morals and values.

We will show you how to love and care for others.

It is our duty to help you grow up to be a beautifully blended member of the human race.
