Blazing hot, and it's not even August.
Tempers flare and people staring
Sunlight glaring off the bumpers
of semi's...glazed over looks in the
babies eyes.

Sweat drips profusely from the brow
of the runner. And this is just the
beginning of summer. Death looms
for the frail in health, A/c blaring
for those with much wealth.

Thin slip dresses carressed by much
needed breezes. Man without shirt
poses as he pleases. Someone on
the standing room only bus sneezes.
And we start to worry about contagious
diseases.

Summer nights and ghetto fights.
Rich folk taking first class flights.
Off to where the sea breeze blows.
When they come back somebody
knows. The house may be violated,
the home invaders are satiated.

Cops and bounty hunters on short
fuses. Nobody wins, and the black
man loses. Covered with abrasions
and black and blue bruises. Nobody
knows anything, these cops must
be using.

Caught on camera, but they don't
give a ****. Folks shooting out
their cars cause they caught in a
traffic jam. Ice cream melts before
you can get it to your mouth.
You ponder and wonder, how you
ever lived down south.

It is what it is and one thing that
we got...
Is a hot *** summer...
That is
BLAZING
HOT!!!!!!:blob fire: :blob fire: :blob fire: :blob fire: :blob fire: :blob fire: :blob fire: :blob fire: :blob fire:
