    Mark 3:

[28] Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:
[29] But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:
[30] Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.

this is a great post. In reference to the Holy Ghost, this would be the problem with the Anti-Christ. The Holy Ghost is truth and followed the events of the past with respect to the history of the Roman Empire. Then the Anti-Christians used the Bible to set up this government but proved themselves to be totally against Christianity. When they set up the government, they Separated Church [Christianity] from State; outlawed the Bible from the slaves reading it and then after 1865, they outlawed the Bible from public schools...set up a holiday and claim they don't know when Jesus was really born...

Can you not see how this would be extremely offensive to any one who does not share your beliefs?
Can you not see that you are displaying the attitude of the white man?
Chevron Dove, of all people, who is always ranting about white supremacy, how can you be so blind as to not see in these writings the basis for white supremacy. It boggles the mind. This is exactly why you are the targets of the collective ire of those who attack your faith. It is really difficult to stay composed when a self righteous, ignorant Christian assumes the position of spiritual supremacy with Paul's poison. If Judaism is blasphemy, then you are saying that anyone who does not believe in Jesus in the manner of the Christian has committed a sin that will land him in hell for eternity. Not only is this totally ridiculous, as it flies in the face of a just punishment comensurate with the crime, but it is the height of white supremacist thought. Last but not least, it is totally offensive to non-Christians. Your blindness to its offensiveness is testimony to the shallowness of your faith.

    BLASPHEMY:

    b. pronunciation of the Tetragrammaton (YHVH) in the original, now forbidden manner instead of using a substitute pronunciation such as Adonai.

    3. Theology. the crime of assuming to oneself the rights or qualities of God.
    4. irreverent behavior toward anything held sacred, priceless, etc.: He uttered blasphemies against life itself.

    Quote:
"...And so it would appear that the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is attributing the work of the Holy Spirit in Jesus’ life to Satan. It is the blasphemous belief that Jesus was not empowered by God through the Holy Spirit, but that he was in fact a servant of darkness and received his power from Satan. Such a hardening of the heart towards God’s work in Christ through the Holy Spirit that you would call it the work of Satan is a blasphemy that will not be forgiven. The person who does so is guilty of an eternal sin...."

    CLARIFICATION

this is a great post.

    CLARIFICATION:

I posted in this section and my comment in this CHRISTIAN STUDY FORUM is NOT meant to debate with a pagan about Christianity or the Christian Bible.

The merits of the contents on this subject, BLASPHEMY, in reference to Christianity and the Bible, that would be what this post is about.

And even if it were NOT in this sub-forum, she still had every right to voice her Christian beliefs in a respectful manner.

She did not attack YOUR faith.

    She responded to another Christian.

And I believe this is why the Holy Son let us know that those who find no offense in His words, in His being are certainly blessed. He clearly knew that there would be those who, no matter what is said in the faith, would take offense simply because they think He is offensive to their life.

Whether it be said directly to them or to another, they take offense, so they do indeed treat it as you've attacked them. But one should look into their own selves as to why such blessed words of the Son and Holy teachings of the Father's Way would cause them to feel attacked or offended. That which is Holy is not offended by that which is Holy, but only that which is unholy , unlearned, and not understanding takes offense to the blessed and holy things.

And nice post, CherryB! Reminding those faithful and teaching those who seek understanding what blasphemies are, and what consequences await for those who choose to never bridle their tongue.

Having faith in the Holy Son and His sacrifice for us, which all faithful should keep strong throughout all their days, is what keeps us on the Holy road of understanding and light. Having belief in His resurrection back to life is what brings us to His justification so that salvation is never lost, but is always at hand. In the Son and the Father do we wait, and with faith and belief, we do so in a holy manner so that blasphemies aren't even possibility.
