    BLAME

If blame could change the past, I'd say sing blame as a song
In fact, I would say point the finger of blame all day long
Blame mother, father, sister, brother,... blame everyone
Blame any and everything under the sun
Make your failurs and mistakes other peoples; falut
Creat scapegoats at will,... without a thought
Make others responsible for the wrongs in your live
And hold back forgiveness for the hurts that cut like a knife

If blame could re-write history my advice would be to blame the whole world
Blame heaven and earth for the problems that in your direction have been hurld
Hold everyone else accountable for your misfortune and circumstance
Make others responsible for your bad breaks in life,... whenever you have a chance
Hold contempt for everyone that comes into yourline ofsight
Have nothing in your heart but unforgiveness, bitterness and spite
Go into that part of your soul where disappointment lies
And give the gift of disgust and despise

If blame could turn back time, I'd say blame 'till your hearts content
Blame your state of affairs on your surroundings, for that'll be time best spent
Blame your neighbors, friends strangers,... your sisters and your brothers
Spend all of your time and energy blaming others
**** the whole world to hell, that'll solve all ya' woes
At the very least it'll make you feel better, and soothe ya' soul
Paint everything blame in all ya' seeing
Set your face like a flint to be an angry being

Now lets look at reality, with which real life rings
To tell the truth, blame doesn't really change a thing
Blame is used loosely and with much liberty
Blame is often confused with accountability
Accountability holds accountable those who need to take into account
The things that were done in the past, and in the future, do right about
Holding people and events accountable isn't the same
As simply naming the situation blame

    Hello Garlicsalt...

Like a mirror most of us who read these words will reflect a small or HUGE piece of ourselves. I enjoyed reading this.

    YOU BETTA SPEAK!

Reading this reminded me of a speech by Booker T. Washington in which he said, "Drop your bucket where you are."

If only more of us would incorporate and internalize those words.

    But, I digress.

THIS PIECE WAS FABULOUS! You spoke nuthin but TRUTH!

you've nailed this on the head
A lot of people place blame like it will change things
But once it happens it happens and nothing can change it
    Great write
