    open for discussion and in light of how Black studies have been strategicaly removed from public school curriculums, as well as the race based school funding system in all 50 states, 40 years after desegregation laws

    :fyi:

    Education use to be preached from the pulpit and emphasized in the home. Currently, neither is true. You add to that a culture that looks at being educated as acting white. The cannonization of poor black trash culture. And free and easy access to sex. Is it any wonder that kids dont finish school today?

    There can be no Black.....

    teacher, healer, counselor, or leader unless they realy deal in a scientific and methodical way with those 2 issues and work consistently to reverse the harm those 2 things have done, and enact a real and lasting cure.

    1 Opression;
    today is expressed by institutional racism that still exists in regards to governmental expenditures and priorities.
    This has to be remedied
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-VEWJncnsk"]YouTube - Tim Wise-institutional racism, labor, prison education[/ame]

    2. Brainwashing;
    As we are well aware of the Big Brother taste making and trend making aparatus that comes out of Tavistock, that brainwashes white folks and keeps us in the Matrix,
    we need federal and local government, to release the pressure and hardships on Black media as well as bailing out media tat uplifts our community.
    The stumbling blocks to young Black men and women seizing the mind controling device of media, must be removed, so that our media can be mind liberating and elevating.
    We need a Black think tank of folks like Dr. Joy Degruy Leary, and Jawanzaa Kunjufu, as well as many others to create national plan and modalities of reversing post slavery trauma

    please listen to what Dr Kunjufu says about our young boys starting out with a joy of learning at preschool and then something happens;

    ...So who will step up today and do what should be done to ensure the multitude of children around the world are properly taught and prepared for what will come before them in their lifetimes?

    When anyone wants to tamper with the minds or try to educate..

    children in other nations then this, history has cleary shown the results and they are not that pleasant nor altruistic.
    It is intersting how now all of a sudden imperialistic ideologies are becoming palatable to some, since we see that much of present day education in mechanized society is predicated on the indoctrination of consumerism and propaganda to the state subservience , corporate subsevience or a combination of both, as opposed to what we saw in the sixties as simply reading writing and arithmetic.http://www.deliberatedumbingdown.com/

    I pray for the benefit of all children around the world, but my real and main focus are those who unlike in every other nation, those here who are the descendents of those who have been raped of thier ancestral culture, an ancestral culture, mind you, which had a love of learning and education for over 30,000 years, undisrupted until the last 500.
    I think the Francis Cress Welsing vid on Chess cleary points that out as well as the numerous slave nrative of Africans hijackd and frred, regarding African society and community at that time, also the research of Dr John Henrik Clarke(PBUH), Dr.Chashee MacIntyre(PBUH), Dr John E Jackson(PBUH),
    Naim Akbar, Dr Molefi Asante, Professor Smalls, Haki Matibuti

    How about practical solutions that even those of us who just plain "want a better education for our children" can relate to?

    Personally, I have my own way of dealing with the problem(s) (for those who call this a problem). However, this is not for me; this is for the masses of people who have children and don't know what else to do.

    Both, but one shouldn't matter.

    That's my "BIG" opinion.
