    Black women are survivors.
Eyers of eagles in the most
    loveliest of places.
    Inside their souls exist an
    evolving oasis.
I am moved dearly by their
graces as I travel in the spaces
    of their galaxies.

    Black women move mountains
    with miraculous wisdom
Give birth to visions alien to
    spiritless man.
In their souls is where the
    miracle of music began.

Black women of the black Earth
give black birth to black children
    who illuminate and equate their
    Universe.

    Black women are soldiers.
    Seamstresses of wounded
    souls.
    Black gold whose existence
was first told by the Stars
She was here before Venus and Mars.

    Black women are imprisoned
    by fright and ignorance of
    their magnificence.

Making sense out of a world,
out of a a universe, that men
    struggle to understand.
Who fail to realize that it is the
wind and seas that She commands.

    Black women
    Black girls
    Black rubies
    Black pearls
    Black beauties
    Black worlds
    undiscovered.
