Black People : Black Wallstreet: the true story.

Good morning and thanks for letting me know you're are much for the unity of our relations, as others here claim they are, as well...

But, well, me having been literally off the local stage for awhile too, others may have to elaborate who do know what folks were striving to do, when they were around then, back then...

FYI...

Back then, and even *now*. Even still, Chuck.

Everybody wants a fair shot. Everybody wants their kids to have a fair shot. This was true in the past. Greenwood, OK exemplified such kinds of aspirations-to-reality in us--so did Rosewood--and explains why we recognize what happened to those folks (our grandparents in these places) as great tragedy. They were segregated! Just like the system wanted them to be--WHY wouldn't the machine leave them be??? Yet they didn't. Don't take rocket science to know why--because that system was NOT supposed to afford them success. Independence. Hope for the future, so...their so-called controlling system was FAILING THEM!

Aspirations still lives in many of us; or, a collective desire for final overcoming still exists today.

Afrakan/Black or Afr Ams today (no matter our collective label) who live in *clusters* within larger neighborhoods face problems of organization in pursuit of a greater good, not because of segregation clustering (based on skin color)--an advantage that our grandparents took organizational advantage of, too--but because our collective presence within the neighborhood structure is more diffuse since integration. In so many ways, much more selfish.

In terms of organizing as a subculture in pursuit of secular (political/legal/racial) solutions, we no longer have reliable institutions to back us up (so that we can forward our progress in problem-solving); meaning, no more national organization or cluster of national organizations that can *set up in the post position* like a center, waiting for one or any of our regional based organizations to pass the ball to them (so that they can muscle the ball up to the hoop and score). Such a pattern of problem solving that our grandparents devised is so worthy of respect that it ain't funny! Yet times have indeed changed. The game has certainly changed.

Online organizing. This is a way. From local to regional to national to international.

One Love, and PEACE

That was and is a given...

It's just that those of us who grew up after the fact weren't told anything about those earlier black self help eras...

Blacks in the old South had to endure the betrayals which ended Reconstruction...

Do keep in mind what their descendants went thru to end segregation...

CTJ: Too many of today's black haves and/or black have not wannabes have a one sided take on 'making it'..

It's become just about that dollar bill, and them sitting in the back seat of those limos, i. e., as in-- few-- (if any of them) run for political office....

hence they just settle for what the dough just does for them and their's, they concede the power, and the louses who get in office, by default!

Actually it takes both in order to be taken seriously...

So just who should our role models and leaders be based on?

Not 'our' fault we remain a divided people!

CTJ:

My gut reaction is to reject anybody's notion that segregation in and of itself led to our forebears actions etc.

Though it is notable what some did in spite of their exploiters and oppressors...

Instead, it's not about settling for less, it is about being the best...

I. e., from South Africa to South America, we too need to embrace the idea of seeking the support of other ethnic/racial/groups, towards a common intent and purpose, in this nation...

By now, we have a better idea as to why some also side with our people exploiters/oppressors, and so do their own people...

No disrespect intended nor meant, but some of everybody's in groups exibit the same sort of arrogence, bred of ignorance...

Let us reach out to our african descended folk in their midst, and they will tell us who is who...

Aren’t non whites in general, we peoples of African ethnicity specifically front line soldiers in the longest running most despicably cowardly WAR in human history, as WAR has never ever been declared then or now by these maliciously EVIL WHITE PARASITES on any African country, has it, they JUST DO IT, however have you noticed how efficiently the destruction of the GAP community of Tulsa on the 1st June 1921 is still marginalised and ignored TODAY?

The GAP community is STILL a truly superb template of the WAY TO GO in the 21st century especially its DO FOR SELF as opposed to waiting for anyone else to sort things for you ethos, or have you missed the way Gaddafi [and thousands of Libyans were slaughtered last year] controlled Libya was attacked and destroyed for attempting to set up an African Bank [underwritten by 200 tons of gold] as opposed to being totally dependent on the West’s banking system?

We people of African ethnicity in general, Men of African ethnicity in particular [in Africa and the Diaspora which includes the UK and the USA] are at fault, aren't WE, in that collectively we have consistently failed [especially over the last 500 years] collectively to organize ourselves intelligently to protect our families, communities and countries; including losing control of Africa, the wealthiest continent on Earth?

Our ongoing failure to organise ourselves intelligently in this blatantly hostile environment is the exact problem the Nation of Islam, the UHURU movement and other Pan African organisations are attempting to address which is why THEY are constantly being besieged by a diverse array of PALEFACE TROLLS and agents focused on misdirecting them?
NOW can you relate to why the more easily spiritually, factually and intellectually challenged of our women don't respect us; [illustrating that they don't respect themselves as we cannot make real progress without being together] in that we are STILL mammals, and don't females ALWAYS look to mate and create their families with the
best PROVIDERS?

However the chaos in our Countries in Africa and our communities in the USA, Brazil and the rest of the Diaspora shows that we are still making serious mistakes, the worst of which is not being both individually and collectively focused on building up our own socio-economic networks and infrastructure, which is what everyone else does as standard, isn't it?

Are you aware of the FACT that during WWII the Japanese slaughtered 11 million Chinese people [they have paid $50 billion in reparations in the 1990’s] yet ANY Japanese history teacher who attempts to teach that so easily verifiable fact [that would poison/stunt their collective self esteem] anywhere in Japan, is immediately FIRED; thus why are WE surprised that our people are socio-economically dysfunctional fron top to bottom when ALL most of us KNOW about our history is Slavery/the most all pervasive longest running collective defeat in human history, as opposed to our so diverse/ongoing contributions to Humaity’s advancement in every area of human activity over the last 5000 years?

Until we use an updated History curriculum to de-pollute our collective knowledge base aren't we very very likely to remain totally socio-economically dysfunctional from top to bottom; due to our Boulé dominated socio-economic elite [
have YOU read Steven Cokely's exposé of these CLOWNS] being even more genuinely CLUELESS than the lower echelons who are usually just AUTOMATONS in any case?

When WE don't program ANY/ALL of our people to consciously acknowledge our African ethnicity as a blessing as opposed to a curse; aren't we extremely unlikely to even begin to fulfil our main responsibility; to deduce and construct the socio-economic vehicles that will allow us to collectively advance and compete with the rest of Humanity in the 21st century?

Shouldn't ALL of OUR school's in general, especially the traditionally Black Schools in the USA the rest of the Diaspora and Africa in particular be teaching an updated History Curriculum highlighting our so diverse but efficiently marginalized contributions to Civilization; thus reprogramming the minds of the people of African ethnicity with our TRUE history [as unearthed by our own historians] as a truly superlative therapy for the trauma of the ongoing African HOLOCAUST, for which both an apology and reparations are STILL missing, aren't THEY?
Isn't ANYONE who genuinely believes they are not programmed
graphically illustrating that their programming is COMPLETE?

Did you watch the documentary? Because according to what I saw, a group of black men went to the local jail (where lynch mobs were gathered) with guns to get there brother that was about to be hung. They were outnumbered. When the 3,000 armed white men went to their towns and these people were caught off guard, what were they supposed to do?

And what exactly were they supposed to do when bombs were being dropped on them? I honestly don't think these people stood around and did nothing to protect themselves and I think that to suggest so does a great disservice to their memories.
EXACTLY! [/quote]Peace.[/quote] To you too my dear!

Aren’t non whites in general, we peoples of African ethnicity specifically front line soldiers in the longest running most despicably cowardly WAR in human history, as WAR has never ever been declared then or now by these maliciously EVIL WHITE PARASITES on any African country, has it, they JUST DO IT [as underlined by the horrific body count of their neo-colonial expeditions in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, their opportunistic meddling in Syria’s civil war, whereas Iran is still their primary target/next in the meat grinding murder machine, isn’t it]?

Nubia/Khemet/Egypt battled and resisted the Semitic hordes for millennia but from the moment Alexander the Macedonian peasant overran Khemet we've been losing this WAR, with the situation becoming a rout when Augustus [Julius Caesar's nephew, heir and history's greatest VANDAL] deliberately destroyed Khemet's most spectacular Pyramid at Abu Rawash, which you've never heard of, have YOU?

This so deliberate piece of cultural vandalism was done to DELETE DJEDEFRAH [whose cult was still very strong 2500 years after his death] from history as this African Pharaoh is now acknowledged as the builder of the Sphinx which honours his father Khufu [who built the Great Pyramid at Giza]; and as exemplified by the murderous carnage that toppled Gaddafi in Libya [killing thousands of Africans] along with the mess in Darfur and the CHAOS MACHINE which has been systematically looting the Congo [causing millions of fatalities] for over 50 years now, we're still in BIG trouble/losing this WAR, aren't WE?

Wishing this WAR away hasn't worked for the African collective in the USA, the rest of the Diaspora and Africa for the last 500 years because Slavery and Colonialism didn't so much end as evolve into the current reality of White/European socio-economic domination in every area of human activity so why or how are WE expecting the chaos in our communities and countries to improve in the near future?

Don’t we have to take full responsibility for education ALL of our people especially our youth with regard to the FACT that this so maliciously murderous onslaught is ongoing in every area of human activity TODAY; or don’t you realise what a disaster the destruction of Gaddafi controlled Libya was for the African collective [can you name any African who has done even half as much for African advancement as this Arab we sat and watched betrayed and executed to revenge the AID he so freely gave to the ongoing African liberation struggle, I cant]?

Gaddafi funded Freelimo in Mozambique, the ANC and most spectacularly the 55 000 strong Cuban volunteers who used Russian Tanks and Aircraft to fight alongside the MPLA in Angola in 1987/8 bringing the South African Expeditionary Force [aiding that CLOWN Jonas Savimbi/UNITA] to a standstill, literally breaking formal Apartheid’s back?

However have you noticed how efficiently the destruction of the GAP community of Tulsa on the 1st June 1921 is still marginalised and ignored by the status quo’s mass media TODAY?

The GAP community is STILL a truly superb template of the WAY TO GO in the 21st century especially its DO FOR SELF as opposed to waiting for anyone else to sort things for you ethos, or have you missed the way Gaddafi [and thousands of Libyans were slaughtered last year] controlled Libya was attacked and destroyed for attempting to set up an African Bank [underwritten by 200 tons of gold] as opposed to being totally dependent on the West’s banking system?
