According to the accounts from historians on The Global Black Experience radio show back inth eary 90s, "Tony Brown's Journal" and "Like it Is",
they had achieved a level of oppulence that the women were wealthy enough to steam ship to Paris to shop and many of the buildings had to ber bulldozed, since some had floors walls and ceilings made of pure marble and alabaster accented with bronze.
All this accomplished by Africans whose grandparents still bore the scars of slavery, and did all this during the time of JimCrow, and rampant lynching across the nation
if we could do that back then ,
with the tecnology presently available ;
imagine what we can accomplish now
