I will be interviewing Johnnie Mae and Reginald L. Wilson about their play "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom" on Thursday, June 7 at 8:30 pm on the BlakeRadio Network (BlakeRadio.com) Rainbow Soul.

I will also attend a town hall meeting at the Schomberg Center in NYC on Monday, June 4, 2012 to discuss how to save black theatre. In attendance will be Danny Glover, Lonnette McKee, Bob Law and others to brainstorm regarding keeping Black Theatre from disappearing due to lack of funding.

Also, KISS-FM radio has already disappeared and now WLIB and WBLS is also in danger of being taken over by white firms who intend to purchase black radio and substitute it with their own programming, effectively causing ALL NY black radio to disappear.
