Every time an unarmed black person is killed by the police, there's a deflection to blk on blk violence and as blk people we look like deer caught in headlights.

    White on white violence
    Latino on Latino violence
    Chinese
    Japanese

    SOCIAL INHIBITION

Placing unrealistic expectations on a person or people.... In this instance, expecting blks to do what no other group of people can do.

Thus guilt tripping, dehumanizing and victimizing the victim to shut the victim down

and vice versa.. Everytime anyone attempts to focus on violence by black people perpetrated against other black people, there is a deflection to Police killing black people.

    case in point: https://destee.com/threads/39-peopl...t-3-days-of-may-in-chicago.86562/#post-950359

What that tells me is... Americans are all the same.. they are escape artist escaping into pre-configured alternate realities and avoiding.. discrediting.. attacking... any and every-thing that challenges their pre-configured fantastic Points of view.. Further: American's imagined realities are surgically attached to their created identities.. inextricably bound.. which makes it almost impossible for them to see any other angle of an issue without betraying their preconfigured identities. Sight, then, becomes a zero-sum game... and nothing is ever resolved.. only postponed.. renamed.. redefined.. forgotten (only to re-emerge). Americans are stuck in an infinite and irrational loop of accusation and denial.. too immature and impatient to strive for actual unpatronizing understanding. It's a kind of curse that will persist until the last American breathes his last breath.

    Peace Serious Brother..
    and Welcome to Destee.com

Are you suggesting that we should be in goose step with every other race? Our race is unique, and it has been treated badly like no other race has. So why not focus on solving as many of our problems as we can and not try keep in step with the others?

    Peace!

I'm a person that has recognized a common behavior within my culture and with some work.. have managed to step outside of it.. mentally and physically.. and as a result, I learned to see myself.. and you too.

    What are you?

Good points, and in addition, those Black communities in which black on black crime occurs, largely, are the direct result of it's residents being trapped in a phenomenon identified as social deprivation and exclusion, primarily.

This phenomenon is centrally fed by two (2) support systems, racism white supremacy and self-hatred.

No. I am not saying we should be in goose step.

SOCIAL INHIBITION is placing unrealistic expectations on a person or group of people

EXAMPLE: If jack was black, he'd walk on water, raise the dead and leap tall buildings in a single bound but, as a white person he can do anything.

    SOCIAL INHIBITION
