NYPD Officer Who Fatally Choked Eric Garner Wasn't Indicted, Man Who Filmed the Incident Was

On the same day one grand jury decided not to indict officer Daniel Pantaleo in the death of Eric Garner, an unarmed black man who was killed after being put in a chokehold last July, a different jury did indict 22-year-old Ramsey Orta, the man who captured Garner's death on camera.

Sharpton calls for Washington march after Garner ruling

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Civil rights activist Al Sharpton on Wednesday called for a protest march in Washington following a New York grand jury decision not to indict a white policeman in the chokehold death of an unarmed black man.

"We have no confidence in local state prosecutions because state prosecutors work hand in hand with the local police," the veteran civil rights activist told a news conference in Harlem to announce the Dec. 13 march.

Are you sure about the above statement?

Most folk find the Grand Jury's failure to render an indictment in the chock hold death of Eric and the six shot killing of Michael, incomprehensible, to include the wife of Eric Garner, Esaw Garner and the mother of Michael Brown, Lesley McSpadden (Louis Head) ...

I absolutely do. We have to recognize who we are dealing with. My question to those that have hope yt will change is, what does it take?

Everyone interviewed on the ground in front of the camera has indicated the decision was expected, no surprise and that change isn't going to happen. This includes the children of Garner, Erica and Eric, Jr., so no one is hoping for change. Nearly all have said the decision however was stunning because the video tells the full story and our eyes aren't lying or deceiving us.

As far as the people you are referring to, the only possible answer from them would be wrapped in a belief of fatalism.

The rest of us realize this is enough and enough is enough.

Conservative Pundits: Chokehold Cop Pantaleo Should Have Been Indicted

Fox News contributor and Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist Charles Krauthammer said on Wednesday night's episode of "Special Report" that he also disagreed with the grand jury's decision not to indict.

"From looking at the video, the grand jury's decision here is totally incomprehensible. It looks as if at least they might have indicted him on something like involuntary manslaughter, at the very least," he said.
