Black People : Black Indians

Blackbird, this is a great thread. Hey, when you saw my picture, did you think I looked like any particular Indian? I have been told that I don't look African, that I look Samoan or African American... hehehe. African American implies African mixed with something else and an American accent. My father is the one who told me that I favored Samoans when I was a child, so far as I know there are no Samoans in my blood line. I am older now of course and not to long ago, this lady brought a clothing magazine to me from Ghana, and she opened it up to show me this woman who looked like me. The woman did favor me but not fully. I look like an Islander I think. Some Indians look Samoan, don't you think?

Sister, you look like you, a very beautiful Black woman. I can see other admixture in your phenotype. Many of us have it, but that's what makes us who we are. Some Samoans do look like First Nation people; whereas, other Samoan actually look African-American. You do look like you may have Ghanaian ancestry.

I look like a mixture myself.

These girls look like they have a black mother or father. I can see some of me in them, that's for sure.

If your wife looks somewhat like this woman, this woman is cute and beautiful and she looks African American.... hehehe... That's the thing, African Americans look like either Straight up Africans, or Africans mixed with something. Isn't that something? I have a Jamaican friend who is black as midnight with the kinky hair and his mother is one of those high yellow African American women but she definately looks black. His father is as black as he is. Any way, he is the only one in the family who looks like his father, while all the other siblings are high yellow and look like his father and mother. We could go on and on about the Make up of African Americans, it is rather infinate due to America being populated by pretty much some of everyone. Not to mention, I think I saw some where that Asians and Indians have something that is the same in their DNA.

I have seen some African American men and women with those features, I think those features are really attractive looking, particularly on African American people. Native Americans are beautiful people.

This is fabulous, I am so glad the this culture is being kept alive. Hey, what do you think about the Creol Indians? Are they real or are they a made up tribe that derived out of African and Native Indians, or what
?
