Not complaining just wondering what it has to do with home education.

Any knowledge you bring to the table can contribute to the 'education'. If you didn't know about that cutting edge technology.....you do now.

If you want to help educate your child 'be there now' when they ask questions, 'be there now' to help search out the answers, 'be there now' to help him or her learn on how to find those answers.
And allow their natural curiosity and imagination to flower.
Don't teach them WHAT to think, teach them HOW to think. It will serve them for the rest of their lives no matter what life path they choose to pursue.

The. the monied interests have been fighting the public education system since it's inception. They can't use a work force that thinks critically they only need workers smart enough to push the right buttons, screw that nut down tight and blindly accept the mind numbing daily routine their lives become.

If one is interested in education or believes knowledge is really the birth right of humans here to two renown scholars on public "education" as an institution.
