Is it possible to survive falling into a black hole?

Eight-year-old Dane Rogan Showalter, a science enthusiast, posed this question to "Cosmos" host Neil deGrasse Tyson during a recent segment on HuffPost Live. And Tyson didn't feel a need to dumb down his explanation.

"The way you won't survive is if you go straight to the center. Then you're like, completely ripped apart, so that would be, like, really bloody," Tyson told HuffPost Live's Josh Zepps in the interview on Monday.

he recently did a TV series called 'cosmos'.

he referenced the greeks, the romans. he referenced the europeans. the asians.
he not one time referenced any Africans as making any contribution to science.
according to tyson all thinking in history has been done by white people.

he used his TV platform to promote white supremacy.

i figure with friends like him we don't need enemies.
i had to post a nasty note on his website.

"It's better to light one candle than to curse the darkness."

Thank you for expressing your displeasure. But then, you've always had the social conscience, the activist spirit that causes you bring light to the darkness.

Before you have a knee jerk reaction, think about how the science field works. Think about the Pythagoras theorem, it isn't his, and scholars know where he got it from. But it's the accepted story that has support in the way of written proof. Where it came from doesn't have it. When I took my exam, what should I have out down, where it really came from, or the answer that was going to looked at as being right?

BTW, look at the hell he's catching for saying what is accepted as fact. How much hell do you think he would catch saying what has not been establish, and least of all accepted.

If you're going to judge, look at the whole picture, and what it involves.

    Peace!
