    I might have violent felonies
    But
    She love my Realness

    Spent 4 years incarcerated
    But
    She love my Realness

I Might Rip out your heart
    But
    She love my Realness

    My Realness consists
    Of being honest and true
I told her about the hoes I got
    And the felonies too

Told her I had sold cocaine
Told her that I broke dude nose
Because he called her out of her name

And she still roll wit me
    Despite what others say

He is a hood, he is violent up to no good
    He will beat you down
Never trust a man that never smiles and always frowns

    But she love My Realness

And before I put a hand on her
I will put a bullet in myself
She realized that when we started arguing
And she excepted me to hit her

    I politely left building

And when I told her my days was dark because she was gone
She was shocked when she realized the violent thug had feelings
Even though he gave a facade of being Bold, Heartless and strong

    She love My Realness

Because she know dudes with degrees
    And so called revolutionaries
    Who cheat on their women
And beat them down their knees
She know some Priests and Pastors
    And other folks
    Who are some abusive disasters

But that all changed when she met me

Never thought she would be in love with a project kid
Who at 12 caught his first felony

    Now she love the hood
Never realized that a man from the Ghetto was so good

She knows that I am her lethal protector
She knows I love her essence
She knows I would never disrespect her

    She love my Realness

    She was on the phone
She sound like a Valley Girl
Like she got a white skin tone:

    Mother he is like
    He really loves me like
I never met a man who was so loving
But who was so like quick to fight

    She loves my realness

    And I love you too
My Black Girl That Act White
I do not care about yo permed hair
Or your Ann Taylor or Abercrombie
    Or your white folks music
Or that fact that you talk and act so white
    That people Stare

You know I roll with you
Because I am concerned about your soul
And I am trying to help you accomplish your goals
Trying to help you be that Black Goddess that is the illest

    I love her Realness

that's what it comes down to..."trust, honesty...the realness"
love the rawness and overt consciousness you so cleverly...
    weave into your work...

    especially...the *like,like, like...Valley Girl Stuff, nice imagery*

They say opposites attract...but this peace makes you think...
are they really so opposite...because until you see a persons
    soul...you never know... :toast:

I guess when it comes down to it, they see each other's true spirit, in a way that nobody else can. This scribe was deep, makes ya think.
