Why should any one get exicted about the black man doing any thing on this planet of ours. We have been dwelling, inventing, reproducing, and keeping our mother alive for over and undetermined amount of time that is currently unquantifialble. We donot understand that it is not a major development of a black man to coach a ball team or any other mundane event that they have been segreated against and thus not allow to compete in. But why do we still want acceptance and to be treated equal in a suppressed enviorment. I mirror that to a kidnapped indivdial thinking about equal rights instead of being focused on freedom. A kidnapper and the victim will never be on equal ground or the definition of the relationship must change. We are so busy beliving the crap about the first black this and the first black that. When our ancestors have been there done that in the realm of technology medicine agriculture ten of thousands of years ago. Meanwhile while we concetrate on unimportant things mother earth is dying and they (white man) is killing her. Our fight is to protect her for future generations. Now we are caught up into buying and selling her and treating her like a ***(like the white man). while we stay alseep beliving still that we have just began to come of age our mother neter is dying in our face and if we cannot protect her then she will protect herself and that means we all gotta go so she can start over. When there is no advangtage one must be created. Which is why the invention of money etc was so important. I personally see the two coaches as only one thing A reminder to the white people on the planet that when there is an equal oppurtinity on any playing field they will lose most of the time. But this is something there already knew which is why they did not want to play with us in the first place.!

You have something going here, MEDIA is keeping its EYES on this EVENT as RACIAL JUSTICE at WORK but ON the GROUND its still BITTERSWEET.

They highlight the MLK, and this SUPER SIZED EVENT in the NATION with RACE but cannot DISCERN our LAWFUL NEEDS in GENERAL.

AT the HOSPITAL.

Where CARE without RACIAL FLARES is suppose to be PARAMOUNT

Family alleges race a factor in police, hospital treatment

overall, i must agree almost totally w ur insightful critique. on the other hand, i confess 2 som modicum of xcitement. w/o meaning 2 slander any1, i will admit to a measure of admiration to the quiet dignity, class, & grace displayed by both tony & lovie, as compared to som1 like dennie green or som other black coaches i could mention.

it's ez 2 b genuinely happy 4 both of these quiet, unassuming, modest yet proud black men, both of whom hv recognized the specialness of their place n history. this time, it really is a shame 1 of them has to lose, but @ least n 1 way, neither of them will, b/c they both will play a pivital role n a somwhat meaningful 1st, @ least to som of us.

of course, the real hurdle to overcome will b the meeting of two black OWNERS n a superbowl - now that will b something 2 c.
