Black People : Black Birds In White Cages

All this Afrocentric fantasy illustrates the deep wellspring of emotional hurt associated with "being black."

Official genetic DNA studies show that those who became the Negroid race were the earliest to separate from the other races (about 200,000 years ago). In terms of "genetic distance," blacks are farther from all the other races, than all the other races are from each other.

The rest of the races clearly did not "evolve" from blacks. Instead, the major races--Negroid, Mongoloid, Caucasoid--evolved concurrently, but independently, in their respective environments. Of course there is blending at the margins.

Please google the oft-cited, peer-reviewed report entitled "Population Genetics of Dinucleotide (dC-dA)n * (dG-dT), Polymorphisms in World Populations"
by Deka, Jin, Shriver, Yu, Chakraborty et al, 1995, published in the American Journal of Human Genetics.

You will find the CORRECT information on how close or distant each major race is from the others.

And interestingly--how genetically distant each race is from our nearest relative, the chimpanzee.

In the Spirit of Sankofa,

... Thanks for the link and the post, Oahusurfer; although this source information is dated: (1995). Nevertheless, here's something found in the Abstract overview, which interestingly shows the basic concept which led to the Out of Africa Theory (OAT). Now I'm sure you don't subscribe to the OAT, but at least submit newer and more current information in support fo your position, okay?

Even though there is substantial variation in allele frequencies at each locus, at a given locus the most frequent alleles are shared by all human populations.

Peace In,

I am a White woman and I've always known our mother on earth was a black woman in Africa. The DNA evidence proves this.

Its good to see this kind of testimony Angele, welcome to the Site. How long ago did you find this out, and from what source(s)?

Peace In,
