Fidel Castro immediately had a special significance for countless Black Americans.

It is impossible to discuss Fidel Castro outside of an examination of the Cuban Revolution. And, while I hear that there are many Cuban Americans dancing with glee upon news of the death of President Castro, I know that the emotions within Black America are and will continue to be quite different.

For any Black American who knows anything about the history of the Western Hemisphere, both Cuba and Haiti have a special significance. Haiti, of course, for successfully ousting the French in 1803 and forming the second republic in the Americas; a Black republic. Cuba, in 1959, kicked out the USA, the Mafia, and a corrupt ruling class that had enforced racist oppression against most of the Cuban population. In the cases of Haiti and Cuba, their audacity in the face of a racist imperialism brought forth the wrath of their opponents. How dare the Cubans stand up to the USA? How could a country of all of these ‘brown’ and ‘black’ people insist that they should determine their own destinies?

Here is one of those articles in favor of an oppressive dictator, Castro, for the sole purpose of taking down America and changing your culture to Communism. When anyone decides to see what is on the other side before they jump, ask your self how would going along with obvious propaganda rhetoric, is going to affect your personal liberty?

I am bringing up Eldridge Cleaver again when he said he was deceived into believing that Cuba was going to be his rescue. He had the Feds chasing him with guns and bullets. Therefore he took off to Cuba, the Shangri-La. One of the things he heard about Cuba was, "There is bread on every table." He said, "When I got there and lived there for a while, I found out that was all there was, a loaf of bread on every table. The Cuban people live in poverty and oppression."

When I asked him, he said the reason he decided to face the Law in coming back to the U.S. was, "Because of my four year old daughter. I don't want her in Cuba. I want the better life for her. It isn't Cuba. So I came back to face what ever."

Communism always has a bloody dictator attached to it. No Black people should believe in Communist propaganda, or what Socialists have to say as Socialism is the acorn of Communism. Don't forget dear ones, Socialists and Communists are NOT your friends. They use you by exploiting history and the deep feelings that go with it. Let Eldridge Cleaver be our scout having gone and comeback with a report of what Castro has done and what Communism does. Good Cuban people have been enslaved, imprisoned, executed by the masses and the Cuban dictator, absolute Authoritarian, as is any dictator is always the slave master.

Haven't I said beware of professors, and Universities, because they are flooded with Marxist ideology. And it is a campaign to change the American people so they (Marxists) can actually take over this people, our country. Here are the people responsible for this article, Johnson C. Smith and also Bill Fletcher Professor with the Institute for Policy Studies -- no doubt the agenda to change our national policies.
