However, Bill has always seemed to be a dichotomy.
His on and off the court persona, his personal life, and activism all present contradictory elements.
contradictory from who's perspective?.. a man's life is his life.. and what we know of his life shouldn't be mistaken for what his life actually is.. all we have are snippets of what has been presented.. but from where I'm sitting, I hold him in high esteem.

And yours is yours.
I didn't say I didn't like or esteem some aspects of him.
I said he's a seeming dichotomy.
Without fleshing out that dichotomy line, this just comes across as a swipe. How about explaining what you mean?
