Ted Kennedy famously endorsed Barack Obama for President, after Bill Clinton (below) reportedly belittled the future president.

Bill Clinton helped sink his wife's chances for an endorsement from Ted Kennedy by belittling Barack Obama as nothing but a race-based candidate.

"A few years ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee," the former president told the liberal lion from
Massachusetts, according to the gossipy new campaign book, "Game Change."

The book says Kennedy was deeply offended and recounted the conversation to friends with fury.

After Kennedy sided with Obama, Clinton reportedly griped, "the only reason you are endorsing him is because he's black. Let's just be clear."

Thank you for the reminder, which explains why I'm not a Clinton fan ... go Bernie.

Yes, I think a lot of these Ministers have forgotten. And, I believe their congregations will follow their lead. I am perplexed by their support of Clinton.

I can't say I know much about Sanders. People keep repeating that he was active in the CRM. But, I am like Janet, "What have you done for me lately?". LOL

One thing I find interesting is my son says ALL of his friends support Sanders. They are college students, AAs, Vietnamese, Nigerians, Cambodians, and Mexicans. The polls are showing Hillary so far ahead. I hope these new college voters show up at the polls and make a difference.

For one thing, Bernie has a better approach to the Black Lives Matter movement than any candidate. To be honest though, Mr. Obama has spoiled me, lol, so, as long as a Democrat wins, I'm good.

I second that emotion. President Obama set the bar pretty high. As much as I dislike the Clintons..... any of the Rethuglicans would be much more disastrous. Especially Trump. His candidacy is surreal! I just hope and pray AAs show up at the polls in the numbers they did for Obama. I think BLM will be a positive factor in getting more youngsters to vote.
