    beyond all the violence
    of cat fights
    shootouts
    and women getting beat
because her man just found out she still sexing her baby dady
leaving the impression in these little boys heads
that it`s alright to beat our black women
and sending the young girls the message
    that they should let them
    because `whendaddy hit momma she don`tdo nothin` to him`
filling our minds with sex and drugs
    not joy or love
it`s a place beyond all that
where you don`t have to scrap and scrape just to make do
    or else start pushing
    and pull all the ladies
    and get all the paper
... at least until you get gunned down at the age of 22
a place where illegitimate babies aren`t born
boys growing up with no daddies
because most of the babies` daddies are babies themselves
and I can`t imagine how the pain of a young mother is felt
beyond children left in foster homes
because their momma was living the ho life
    excuse me, the low life
    ever night leaving home
so she could put food on the table
and one day she just didn`t come back
some ***** decided to sex her, rob her, then put a gun to her back
    tat, tat, tat
    beyond all that
    beyond all the crying
    from a loved one`s dying
    somewhere where everyone is free
from the hassles and struggles of reality
    where everyone is free
to express themselves however they please
anything from fine art, to cooking, to just wearing no panties
somewhere where each race, age group and sex can get along
where everyone sings a joyous song
you know, like the one your grandma used to sing
where everyone in the congregation claps their hands
stomps their feet, and joins in to the beat
a place where there is no family bickering
    or fighting among friends
but then again, it`s only a dream
    and that`s why I sleep
... I don`t want the dream to end

The type of dream that seems like a paradise. I wouldn't want to awake from it either. Flow some more.
