I just read that BET fired Tavis, effective immediately! You can read the story on eurweb.com at the following link:

I must admit that I didn't watch the show often (don't watch much television at all), but when I did catch it I found it informative.
I haven't caught Tom Joyner's show lately either, but I will on Monday morning (whew!), I'm sure it will be hot!
Also, I understand that BET will be airing a live program on Monday, 3/26/01, with Robert Johnson answering questions regarding this subject (telling his side of the story).
All of this is quite interesting. What's your opinion of it?
