i believe in fairy tales
i believe in heaven
i believe that 3+3 just don't
equal seven

in America there are
exceptions to each and
every rule

but i'm tired of it just plain
fed up in dealing with these
fools

in public schools children use and abuse
drugs and secret weapons for their
protection

instead of arming themselves
with intellect for the sake of each and every
endangered mind that's faced with neglection

like pure deception
the development of a nation embroidered in lies
i sympathize with those who despise when the
University of Alabama says "ROLL TIDE"

we struggle with the epitome of our soul
when it dies we LOSE control like a bowl full
of charcoal dumped in an open flame whose
to blame

we claim fairy tales don't exist
but we believe in heaven

continuing to lead our lives by exception
when 3+3= 6 not seven and fairy tales only exist
to those who TRULY believe in heaven
