    Hotep,

Why is it that we find that in many cases there is more tolerance for evil without confrontation amongst religious people than there is amongst everyday people? Is the mis-understanding of forgiveness being used as a tool of evil? Or is it that those that tolerate evil without confrontation are the fruit of evil!!!

    Adding My Two Cents

One Must OverStand SomeThing Religion Was Created To Control The Minds Of The Mass , And The Teacher Of Religion Are The Tools , They Have Each Denomination Christian Against Each Other With Their Diffrence Teaching And The Same With Islam And Its Many Sect . Having Them All Thinking They Have The Truth , LQQk At The Master Plan Created Against The Muslim Here In The West . They Have Nubian Christian Hateing Their Nubians Brother Because They Are Muslims . They Have Divided The Nubian People Again In The Name Of Religion . They Have The So-called Righteous Christian Hateing The Unrighteous Muslims , And They The So-called Righteous Muslims Hateing The Unrighteous Christian . But When You Confront Them With This They Trun On You At The Drop Of The Hat . The Power Of The Word < Believe Is Really Something > If You Can Get And Indivdual To Believe In Religion You Can Get Him Or Her To Do Most Anything .

Speaking as a Christian from a Christian point of view we must first define evil. It is evil or wicked to disobey the commandments of God. Disobedience to God is allegiance with Satan. God knows we are not perfect and are easily tricked. The physical world is Satan's dominion. Because Satan is much wiser than man he knows our weakness. Satan is hard at work attacking us from every angle. At times it seems there is no escape from Satan's perverse world. This is an afflication that befalls all us saint and sinner alike. As a Christian the bible tells us not to do evil for evil. This does not mean to engage or to tolerate sin. It is a sin to be an adulterer, should we castrate the sinner? In some countries of other faiths an adulterer is stoned to death on their day of worship. It is not for me to say if God has had a man the instrument of his punishment. Early Christians took one verse from the bible and thousand were killed by torturous death. This scripture comes from Exodus 22:18 " Thou shall not suffer a witch to live.". Though this is God's commandment this falls under the old covenant. Christians observe the new covenant through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Instructed by God the Apostle Paul tells the church of Thessalonica in a letter:"14 Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men. 15 See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. Under the new covenant homosexuality is still a sin but we are to witness to them in compassion not hatred. We are not the excutioners of God's punishment. This is why there is a day judgement. Only God can pass judgement. Remember nothing happens unless God allows it. God allows things to happen for his purposes not ours.

    Peace

This is in assumption that those who are religious always tolerate evil, thus, it concludes that somehow they must be the fruit of evil, which isn't so. Those who hold true religion are not the "fruit of evil" as they'd do no evil to anyone and help where they can.

Forgiveness is misunderstood by many, and withheld unjustly by others; but I don't think forgiveness is so much being used as a tool of evil, as that would mean somehow forgiveness is causing harm, and it doesn't, but people do.

This was written very well; I believe many can learn from this. We are to view with compassion, just as we seek it for ourselves.
