    BEING STRAIGHT

Like an exam rhymes filled with trap questions rap
Aggression like world leaders my profession is to yap
The truth, my scripts are like lips they chap in dry weather
Try to be clever in speech but they never reach the leather
Souls of folks these bold quotes should be heard forever
Wear bling absurd and like the wings of a bird folk clap
Loudly when I rap proudly, some treat me like feces that’s crap
Wear tight dew rags and like new flags they flap in strong wind
While my dome spin around like acrobats my facts a fat blend
From the brain, like honor roll student deliver a cry of joy when
Cats shiver try destroy my pride don’t understand rap or its dividends
Some flunkies in bandanas more like monkeys with bananas so look
Some Climb trees just nickel and dime MC’S while I rhyme sprees hooked
On phonics many don’t have strong Ebonics talk petty English not ready
To be distinguish, menace like a dentist, fill cavities while dumb gums sweaty
Even J Paul getty knows this fuel is the tool for knowledge, this is tall stuff
Like a device this is small enough to be worn on wrists like a Rolex buffed
To shine while I handcuff the blind these cats out their mind to sit around
And not take this in stop faking this is real, like a raft this junk float down-
Stream, joke and clown teams leave to drown in steam mighty hot like brown
Booty on a soul sister I’ll be the bold mister to kiss her lips for real

    Weekend coming to a close.
    Brother it was some weekend.
    I ate. Played.
Read poetry and hung with all here.
It had been three years for me since I last did all that.

    This flow is awesome.
    Poetry is fuel.
Brother you know how to spark the imagination.

    Your elements are deep

" If they go over the head of your intended audience.
You can make a crowd turn into no crowd at all.
You can make the reader not understand or feel they don't belong. "

    Taalam Acey - slam poet
I have invited him to come share.

    Wow.. for real?
The man child is with us.
The Lord is with us. All one can do is trust in him.

    On the banning.
    Don't dwell.

    Keep flowing.
Look at the reads you got on your post. You are being read!
I had quite a few of mine go clear out of view. No response.

It isn't love that wasn't shared. I think I went off on a tangent.

Some flows depending on length or subject are hard to comment on.

You are here now. Share you are talented. hey

Did you check out Taalam's site yet.
I have listening to his spoken word for a few years.
