Being a black women sho' aint easy Everyday we strive to create a better we We as in mate, children, friend, and family The challenges we face are horrendous to any hue-man from the peak of dawn, strongly we must stand Viewed by white america as lazy, loud and rude viewed by some black men as an opened disposible womb Someone's always trying to suppress our power Putting the blame on us until the late wee hours If we are voiced, then we must learn to be quiet If we are down with a political move they want us at the back of the riot If we are oppinionated, then our oppinions must be flawed If we love our black men, then we must be whores If we are independant, then we want to be men If we are single mothers, its because of our own sins If we are extremly beautiful, then we must be mixed If a mans spends money on us, Then we're a golddigging *itch If we marry out of our race, then we must be traders Idenity crisis, low self esteem, must be invading us If we help our fellow black sisters to rise the root of our encouragement must be bias If our men can't fight, then we must be warriors But If we are calling all the shots, then we are far lesser than glorious If we stumble by the way side, then we must be weak If we keep our mouths closed, then we are too meek I tell ya Sisters, hahahaha BEING A BLACK WOMEN SHO' AINT EASY! NONETHELESS, I LOVE BEING ME!!! If you have a destination, I am surly rooting for you If you have to cut through the forest to get there I'll still be encourgeing you through!
