    UNTITLED

    It all begins
    step by step
Tiny hands reaching across the floor
    a newborn innocently crawls
    as many have done before

    Take your time little one
    for there's no rush
    it won't be long
    till into strife your thrust
    each and every inch
    brings you closer to fate
each and every day I bid you
    Cherish in every way
    but I could only wish
for look into the future you shall
yet cherish the day I bid you
for one day you shall reminisce
and on that day I'll tell you,
for your happiness I did wish

Step by step, ...but those steps come to quick these days, it seems like they crawl in a week, walk in a month, wow, it appears that we never even see their first tooth comming in. Baby, I'm leaning towards that 'step by step as well!!
    Nice and right piece poet.

Reminds me that I can't wait to have kids and get married. But only being 22 doesn't help my case.

Nice one, poet. You got kids?

    One.

    Hello UnknownPoet...

Step by step stories are written from journeys beginning to end. I'm sure anyone who has or had a little one, has wished for the same. Beautiful write! Thanks for sharing.

    Feelin’it souldeep!
