why do we shop in these places ????
I would like to know the answer to your question, Bro. James because in my opinion, how and where we spend our money should be more important than how we look.
Beauty. Where to shop for those much needed and desired beauty products. I use a Black owned hair products line. Taliah Waajid Black Earth products. Because it's hard for Black owned products to get approval to sell thru Sally's Beauty Supply, they sell their products thru the Asian owned beauty supply stores.
Money and beauty. Money first, beauty is a real close second.
The one Black owned beauty supply store I've been to, the prices were nearly double the cost of other beauty supply stores.
The other option is to sell our products thru Black beauty salons. That's takes a level of trust some of us don't have.
who convinced black women that they need all that crap......
Well James, women need beauty supplies cause we like no love to look our best. No one had to tell us we need to shampoo our hair.
The young lady in the video wanted eye lashes. I don't wear them, but I think they are inexpensive. Maybe $5.00 I think.
If they didn't find any stolen property on her, he goes to jail for assault
soap and water, a little skin cream. that's all you need and you don't have to go to the devil to buy that.....
This man was dead wrong. They should boycott. Put him in headlock. Will it stop me from going to a beauty supply store? Absolutely not. If my hair was natural, unnatural, wearing weave, wearing a wig, wanting cosmetics, shampoo, lashes or whatever, I get those products from a beauty supply store. Most likely that is not going to be a black owned supply store. We don't own crap. There is nothing wrong with a women using whatever she feels enhances her if she wants. Men are always trying dictate to black women what they can and can't do. Every decision we make as black women some...male has a problem with it. From our hair, to our weight, to our skin color, ect. Geeze! Now we can't even go the the beauty store.
White people through the power of illusion and a system of oppression.
