I have a mini afro. I cant wait until my hair grows out like the ladies above!
Thank you for posting these timeless natural beauties; they inspire me. As of today, I am proud to say I have 6.5 inches of fluffy, beautiful (new) growth, since Oct '06! Garsh, I can't wait till it starts crawling down my back. I don't care what texture it is ( I prefer natural), just gimme gimme gimme the length!
That's what I'm talking 'bout!
I'm throwin up ma 'FIST right along witcha!
these are some of the richly looking women in a natural look

Thanks for posting these beautiful sistas! I'm rocking my twists for now and once in a while I take down to see how my fro is growing. Destee, I greatly admire your fro.
k Sister Queen ... i will do that ... ...
Sister PebonyBreeze ... Welcome Welcome Welcome !!! ...
Thanks for joining us and sharing! I've never had twists before, but they are really cute! I saw a Brother with some just the other day, freshly done, and i got to touch them ... they were oh so soft ... kinda helped one of the twists, twist back like it was spoze to be!
Thanks for the admiration Sister ... ... i can't even wear that same afro anymore, my hair has grown too long for that now ... but hmmm ... as i think on it, i could probably do one right after washing my hair ... don't comb it out ... just oil my scalp and pack it down into a tight fro ... and let it dry like that ... but of course it would be suicide, when it came time to comb it out!
Yall got me over here think'n ...
Sister PebonyBreeze ... again, thanks for joining us and please make yourself at home ... because you are!
As promised ... here you go Sister Queen and Family !!!
Me and hair styles have never really gone together very well. I'm not creative when it comes to such things, and don't put lots of time into my hair, i never have ... so my "styles" are simple ... basically letting (as if i have control over it) my hair go whichever way it wants!
I took these just this morning ... and am adding them to my Picture Album - Afro Puffs n Stuff!
It's been such a journey, and still is, trying to capture the full blessing God gave us, in our own natural hair!
i always said that you were beautiful! And you are, always remeber that!
