Beautiful black moon
You thought no one could see you in hiding
During the beginning of a new cycle
You are masked among the other heavenly bodies
But I searched the vast realms of the skies
Until a vague orb was within my sight
And I witnessed you
In all of your splendor…
although seemingly invisible you were to most
I FOUND YOU
With the blessing of the divine
I felt you, and therefore…
Witnessed your brilliance
Even though your light is not full tonight
Even though you are hidden from view
Still blessed I was to have seen you
For I know you exist
I always knew
Despite whether I had ever witnessed

I’m in bliss…
