Obama did not participate in the Jena 6 march. Those who consider him a "phenomenom", raised up by God to save us poor black folks, need to carefully consider how demonstrably different Obama's approach is to that of _real_ leaders such as Dr. King, Malcolm, Gandhi, and Shuttlesworth.
Our _real_ leaders do not avoid talking about race so as not to offend their white supporters.
Even Jesse Jackson, who happens to be an Obama supporter, has criticized Obama for his lukewarm, at best, support for the Jena 6:
And, note that, during last week's debate in Texas, Obama --- the merciful, the magnificent --- never once even mentioned the words black, African-American, Jenna, or Katrina. The brother is no more committed to black people than Tiger Woods is.
