Just when things seemed
to be progressing
regression slipped
something - drawkwa -
in between us
and it made me
stop and think...
didn't have to read
between the lines
just needed to
absorb what was
going on ~
inhale and blink my eyes
maybe even click
my heels three times
for good measure ~
...then I stood still...
and took notice
of what had happend

While I was moving forwards
you had went words back,

A world away...
so I threw out my
life line for you
to hold onto
and I hope you catch
and return the line
of feelings
that I so willingly give
I want you by my side
not somewhere else;
and not behind me
or way back there
hope you have a tight
grasp so I can pull
you forward because...
