Somewhere in the dirty, dirty
Occupation
Telemetry technician
Lessons come
In shapes and sizes
Like people
Making people teachers as well as lessons
Cry no more over disguised blessings
God is your shield and your weapon!

You can't take back what you've given
No excuse to stop living
And giving
And healing
The part of you that really matters
While protecting a heart battered
And a pride that's been shattered

Wisdom enters through trial
Sometimes error
With no puropse other than to make us better
Let it make you
And break you
So you can get it back together!
