Lincoln Brown, Chicago Teacher, Sues For The Right To Say N-Word In Class
    www.huffingtonpost.com
Lincoln Brown, a 48-year-old Chicago Public Schools teacher, has filed a federal lawsuit against the district after being suspended without pay for five days for using the "n-word" as a part of a lesson highlighting the "perils of racism," the ChicagoSun-Times reports.

During black history month, how can a white teacher get into the subject matter without discussion the use of this word? After all, the blue eye/brown eyed test IS administered by a white female

Truly, White people should not be teaching Black people.

But as to that word: one White man has said "Isn't it ours?"

The issue with our level of analysis is that we often do not look at the big picture. We call the European arrogant and ignorant for naming our rivers, as if he names them for us.

The trouble is not when the White man gives you a name--the trouble is when you make the White man tell you what your name is!

    --

If the White man was respectful, he would ask you what you wish to be named. However, if the White man was respectful, you would not be in America.
