i awoke
to find him

STANDING

naked

before the
open window

STARING

at the crooked
birch tree

CULTIVATING

singularity

amidst
a forest full
of oak

from the bedside
I layed in unison

SKETCHING

his troubled posture
with my mind

TRACING

the worried lines
of his vertebrae

CAPTURING

the shadows
of doubt

with the corners
of my eyes

pictures

of a man

REFLECTING

on the road
chosen

to mid-life

AWAKENINGS

and
the testimony

of bark

DESIGNING

the nature
of human growth

CONTEMPLATING

the hidden beauty

of a single
crooked birch tree

CELEBRATING

individuality

in a forest

full of oak

Hunter, my sister

This is a work of art...and beyond!
You once said (well), that every man brings a poem....

In your work, you breathe life into the animate and inanimate objects...a remarkable, admirable skill...you make us look at our close connection to nature...how we move in the 'natural'...
au naturel...

Your verses are clean, and there's nothing but truth to be found.

"Let everything that hath breath"...bring the poetry.

thank you for this...thank you for being.

a

quiet in still...

your words captivate my thoughts and paint the pictures of cool breezes in the garden. i smile as this is my last vision here...and i am glad it is a pleasent one.

For you and Alyce...continue to scribe as beautifully as you do and when the tide rolls on from the sea, know i shall be there awaiting the sun...
