Black Entertainment : avatar was good

I've never seen "A Man called Horse" and don't rightfully recall seeing any full Tarzan movies. Basically, it was just as I described; it seemed to use a particular element of "The Matrix" to transport the European "explorers" into the world of the alien "natives"; the premise was to exploit and destroy. Again, you can imagine who came out the hero. Same old story....different genre.

so it was a 21st century Tarzan movie?

or "A Man called Horse"?

yes it was both but it was more. you really need to see it. you are trying to break it down remotely. put up the $15.

the beautiful part was the way the NA'VI people lived in harmony with nature.
it showed the inborn intelligence of all of nature. it was beautiful.

A Man Called Horse is about a White man who learns to become Lakota and defend the Lakota cause spiritualy and phyisically.

That was the 70s, in the 80s there was "Enemy Mine"

with the same story but with reptilians exploited into slavery.

But this is a cartoon, done before recently 2007?2008? about US imperialism on a symbiotic planet of indegenous people.

Also white supremacy and racism is so common place today, that Hollywood feels the need to put native Americans on a planet(complete with bow and arrows horses and war cries), as half animal,
just to get the white movie going population to see the evil of resource exploitation, and strip mining,
cause many in ths nation care more about thier pets then they do for the First Americans and thier holocaust.

a cartoon is a cartoon, even if it was on a "Holo-deck" IMHO

The indigenous people/aliens seem to be a hodgepodge representation of African people and Native Americans with the same message of exploitation.
You saw the movie or are you going based on ads?
