    autumn has arrived
    purple and orange flowers
bursting forth in my front yard
    screaming a little color
    amidst the thick green
    stuck 'em there last year
don't even have a green thumb
    but here they come
    strong and powerful
    full of emotion

    like myself
    an autumn notion
    sunsets
birds scrambling for added scraps to warm their nests
a little bite in the air
the smell of pumpkin seeds roasting
    trick or treat laughter
    i'm there
    lighting orange spice candles
    throughout my home
    the aroma is heavenly
    autumn has arrived
