I personally do not like the idea, but accept that it is a good idea nevertheless.
More crimes would be solved which in turn will gradually translate in to a decline.
As to whether I would feel safer... No
No. I wouldn't trust the camera monitors.
The city of Camden NJ has every square inch monitored by surveilance cameras. To combat a rampant crime spree. Good in one way, bad in another.
Any Grass roots, true, been in the struggle BLACK person would know the answer to this question. which makes me ponder a number of things.???? But any way Hell no!!!!!

No problem with it. You have zero aspirations of privacy while in public.
plus... they already track your vehicle while on the interstate, your emails for key words, your cellphone for gps and other content...
Why even believe that there 'rights'... they are privileges
Anything I do or say on the Internet or cell, I do it like I know I'm being monitored. For real. Even typing this. There are some things I will only discuss person to person, never on the Internet or cell.
